If you’re looking for good Mediterranean food with an epic downtown/Lake Union view, mbar hits all the right notes. The decor is beautiful, the view is unmatched, and the service was excellent. The food was delicious as well! If you’re coming on a weekend, definitely make a reservation. If you’re coming on an evening, check out the nearby Amazon garages which typically have free parking in the evenings and are only a block away! Highly recommend for a special occasion or with a group of friends!

Atmosphere was great and the view. Great drinks. Appetizer was ok, too bitter dip and the pita was too dry. The oysters are delicious and will go back for more. Service was not great, our young man server was rude and we had to wait for long time for everything and even when we tried to call him he would ignore us. We had to get help from a different server.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. The place is modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The menu is varied, and everything we tried was tasty and well presented. A great place to take your time and enjoy the whole experience. Prices are what you’d expect for this kind of setting and quality. Make sure to book in advance, it gets busy!

One of my all time favorite bars in Seattle! Such a fun place to spend a sunny afternoon. Their cocktails are always amazing, and the views are truly unmatched! I always plan to bring people here when they’re visiting from out of state - best glimpse into a Seattle summer!

My experience was average… The food and drinks were good. We ordered small plates: harra frites and falafel, and to drink, an Mbar Aperol Spritz and a Pamplemousse & Circumstance. The service wasn’t remarkable, and even though we had a reservation, they gave us a poorly located table. When we asked for one with a view, they said it was reserved-but so were we-. At one point, it started raining, and they didn’t offer blankets (there’s no roof on the terrace). Also, keep in mind there’s an extra charge. Good:the view is 10/10

Getting to the restaurant is half the fun, the lobby is engaging and after the elevator ride, the walkway with city scape is charming. Once you arrive, the Space Needle & Lake Union views greet you. I definitely recommend reservations — otherwise they have a strange arrangement where u go to bar to get your cocktails (read: no service for a certain indoor section in bar). Otherwise (esp. for NW) cool place & vibes.

My partner and I have booked a reservation here for the past three years for our anniversary and it’s always been so great. On top of the view, the food is very tasty (personal favorites being the frites mezze platter) and their fruity/sweet cocktails are exactly to our taste. Check in is easy, the staff are friendly, and the seating area on the roof is beautiful with an intimate atmosphere. Even in the evening they do turn on heaters by request to make sure it doesn’t get too cold. Note: that the ribeye steak was quite rare for medium rare (which fortunately we enjoyed anyway) but just something to keep in mind

Mbar is such a beautiful establishment! The service was great and food delicious. It is a bit pricey, but THAT VIEW! The view is a wonderful panavision of the Seattle skyline. Don't leave Seattle without a visit to Mbar!
